When
David was nine years old he was playing Hide-and -Seek with his five your old
sister and hid in his parents' closet. Inside he found a long narrow case.
Opening it, he saw a saxophone his Father had played in high school. At 16,
David became a professional saxophone player playing at high school and college
dances. He got his classical sax training at the University of Arizona (Tucson)
which he paid for by playing in a popular funk band. In 1977 he founded the San
Francisco Saxophone Quartet which has 4 CD's, sold out Davies Symphony Hall
concerts and toured the USA five times and Japan. David also plays R&B, jazz
and loves playing Rock "n" Soul with the Poyntlyss Sistars Band.
